There is currently no effective treatment for brain fatigue, and there have been few research studies done globally. The studies that have been done can nevertheless show that it is possible to alleviate brain fatigue and that this can have a great impact on the quality of life as well as to better understand and manage life as it is. We have done both drug and mindfulness studies. A brief summary is given below.

The brain has a good ability to recover, but is slow. Patience is needed. For many, recovery will occur within a year. Others may need many years for recovery and some will struggle with brain fatigue for a very long time, perhaps for the rest of their lives, even if it will improve slowly. It is not possible today to give a prognosis of how long it will take. It varies considerably from person to person.
